High-Voltage - Taping Machine

The HV-TM high voltage taping machine can bind and protect the wire shield of high voltage cables by means of a precise dot tape.

The position where the dot tape is applied is highly precise, with a tolerance of +/- 0.5 mm. This position is guaranteed by sensors that detect the position of the cable.

The machine is able to work with different cross sections by interchanging two side clamps. The installation of the clamps is very fast because they are fixed with plungers. The machine recognizes the clamps installed and automatically adjusts the taping parameters.

Banding change is very fast and easy, in less than 50 seconds. The machine is designed as a standalone unit, but can also be modified to integrate with other machines or to work inline, as the cable is fixed and the taping head moves to the wire.
